A Lifetime of Service
Raymond L. Harris has dedicated his life to serving the people of Statesboro. He's raising his sons in our neighborhoods and serving his country as a Disabled Veteran of the United States Army. Raymond understands both the challenges and the promise of our city.
During six years on active duty and one year in the U.S. Army Reserves, he developed leadership skills under pressure, earning multiple medals for excellence. After his honorable service, he continued giving back as a volunteer with the Georgia State Defense Force and later built a successful career in business and technology leadership.
As a father, business leader, and community volunteer, Raymond has seen firsthand the need for safer streets, fair opportunities for small businesses, and stronger support for youth and families. He has worked alongside local organizations to mentor young people and bring neighbors together around shared goals.
Now, Raymond is ready to bring that same commitment to City Hall. His vision is simple: a Statesboro where every resident feels safe, every small business can thrive, and every child has the opportunity to succeed.
